#1 Kodungallur Bhagavathy Temple

The first one of tourist places in Kerala you should visit is Kotutangalore Bhagavati Temple. This place is a Hindu temple situated in the place called Kunlingangalore in the Tritshur district of Kerala. It is one of India's most ancient temples. #2 Padmanabhaswamy Temple

For non-Indians and Hindus of non-Indian ethnic origin, the entrance to the temple is forbidden, but on an exceptional basis, Western and Russian Krishnas of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness are allowed inside the temple.

During the Tippu Sultan raid in 1789, Krishna's martyr from the temple in Guruyvayr (Gurujavarapan) was transferred to Ambalapuzha for his preservation. Among the Hindus, the temple is known for its special sweet rice pudding. Hindus believe that Guruivurappan comes here every day to taste this delicacy. Every year on the day of the Nakshatra Mula of the lunar month of Mithun, a major religious festival is taking place in the Malayam calendar.
#5 Vadakkunnathan Temple

The last one tourist place in Kerala in this article is Vadakkumnathan Temple. It is located in the center of the Tekkengad Ground, 3 small hillock in the heart of Thrissur (Kerala, India). The temple has a very historic connection with the Trissur temple. During the time of Shaktan Thampuran, the temple was rebuilt in its present form. The Vadakkunnathan Temple, the largest seater in Kerala, is more than 20 acre. Swaraj Round is known by the great tradition of Vadakkunnathan. Hence the person coming to the city of Thrissur can not go beyond the Vadakkunnathan temple.
In 2012, the Indian Archaeological Service has recommended 14 places, including the Vadakkunnathan Temple, to be included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO.
