    At the beginning of article I want to tell you some information about city Anchorage.


    Anchorage is a city and district of the American state of Alaska and it is also the largest city in Alaska. The city was founded in 191. More than two-fifths of Alaska residents live in Anchorage.


    Anchorage is the main base camp for the adventures of Alaska. A number of sporting competitions, countless festivals and many other events are held annually. The city of Anchorage is known as the air junction of the world. You can enjoy recreation, wildlife, glaciers, mountains, adventures, etc. A mild winter climate, snowy mountains and forests, award-winning trails and miles of uncharted snow create ideal conditions for winter sports such as Alpine and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, fishing, snowshoe trips and more.

    Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum is an museum lying next to Lake Hood in Anchorage. Its mission is to preserve and display Alaska's aerial heritage through historical aircraft and other artifacts. The museum has more than 30 aircraft, a hangar, a flight simulator, two theaters and a Hall of Fame.


    It provides an emphasis on historical aircraft, aerial artifacts and memorabilia that have contributed to the development and advancement of air transport in Alaska, including Bush flying and the World War II Army base on Adak Island.

    The Alaska Native Heritage Center is a museum dedicated to the culture of Alaska's aboriginal people in Anchorage. In 1987 the Alaska Federation of Natives, the largest Native American organization in Alaska, responded to the desire for a meeting place with the planning of a cultural center for the entire state. From this, almost two years later, the Alaska Native Heritage Center was established as an independent, tax-free non-profit organization.


    Between 1989 and 1999 federal, state, regional and private funds were used to collect 14.5 million US dollars for the construction of the facility. The original plans had cost double the amount and the project had to be adapted to the available resources.


    The building site was purchased in 1994 and the Heritage Center was opened on 1 May 1999.

    The Anchorage Museum of History and Art aims to collect, preserve, display and interpret artifacts that depict the art, history and culture of Alaska and Polar.


    Anchorage Museum of History and Art is located in Anchorage, Alaska, founded in a public-private partnership with the aim of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the purchase of Alaska. The museum was opened in 1968. The whole building covers an area of 10,000 square feet, exhibited 60 Alaska paintings from the private lending of 2,500 historical relics. Since then, the collection has been increasing. The museum developed slowly and had been expanded twice. Last time in 1986. An area of 140,000 square feet holding 21,000 items and 450,000 historical photos. Now, the museum is named "Anchorage Museum in the center of Rasmuson".
